Welcome to Wurm Recreation Club
The Wurm Recreation Club (WRC), formerly the Wurm Running Club, is a group of family and friends who joined together over 20 years ago to Run/Drink Beer/Do Good! Over the years we’ve transitioned to more of a Run/Walk/Ride club and increased our support of charities, especially those raising funds for cancer care/research. Join us for family/friend fun and charity!

Team Wurm Recreation Club has been created!
There is something for everyone for this great family event! 5km run, walk, and kids run! Run with your family and friends, stick around for the party and raffle, and then get brunch in Davis Square!
Who: Not just for moms, but for everyone! All runners, walkers and strollers are all welcome on the course.
When: Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11th, 2025
Where: George Dilboy VFW Post 529, 351 Summer St, Somerville, MA 02144
Proceeds to benefit the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
2025 National Brain Tumor Ride
Sunday, May 18. Course options for the in-person ride are 10, 25 or 50 miles. The ride has both an in-person and virtual option. Fundraising minimum is $300 for in-person and free for virtual riders.

Join us as we walk in memory our dear friend Tim Connolly. It will be a mostly virtual team, walk with family wherever you are, on Father's Day weekend.
Runners and walkers are welcome for this fun 5K race and family fun day. Both in-person and virtual options available.

Proceeds to benefit the The Angel Fund for ALS Research, an independent, non-profit charity, benefiting ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) research at UMass Chan Medical School.
