Welcome to Wurm Recreation Club
The Wurm Recreation Club (WRC), formerly the Wurm Running Club, is a group of family and friends who joined together over 20 years ago to Run/Drink Beer/Do Good! Over the years we’ve transitioned to more of a Run/Walk/Ride club and increased our support of charities, especially those raising funds for cancer care/research. Join us for family/friend fun and charity!
160K raised to date for cancer research including 55K for brain tumor research
Running Out Of Summer 5K
The ROOS 5K benefits Second Chance Animal Services.
Scenic and fast course along the Spencer Rail Trail followed by food, drinks, and fun at O’Gara Park! Post-race party at Rapscallion Brewery & Taproom.
(This will be a mostly virtual team event)

To participate virtually, click REGISTER and select Donate Only. You will then show up as a team member but without race day entry.

Second Chance Animal Services is a nonprofit animal welfare organization. Second Chance operates Community Veterinary providing access to the highest-quality veterinary care for all. Subsidized rates are provided to underserved communities to ensure access to care for all pets in need.

Scenic ride along the back roads of Little Compton, Tiverton and Westport (Horseneck Beach). Route options of 12, 23 and 62 miles. Start with breakfast and stay for the post cycle party!
